The Manjaro Community Team, through Regards Holmes, was proud toannounce the release and immediate availability for download of the Manjaro Linux JWM Edition 15.12 computer operating system.
As expected, Manjaro Linux JWM Edition 15.12 is based on the recently released Manjaro Linux 15.12 (Capella) operating system, but it has been designed from the ground-up to provide users with an ultra fast, lightweight and sleek GNU/Linux distribution built around the JWM (Joe’s Window Manager) user interface, which is used as the default desktop environment, and includes a lot of goodies (see below for details).
“The Manjaro Community is proud to announce the release of our JWM Edition 15.12 Capella (Code 221215), said Regards Holmes, maintainer of Manjaro JWM Edition. “JWM (Joe’s Window Manager) is a lightweight stacking window manager for the X Window System written by Joe Wingbermuehle. JWM is written in C and uses only Xlib at a minimum. Configuration is by editing an XML file – no graphical configuration is supplied.”
